Canedy Knowles (Corinthianne) is thrilled to reprise the role of Corinthianne and to perform in her first NYMF show. She performs regularly with the Off-Broadway improvisational comedy groups Chicago City Limits and Luck of the Draw- the fully improvised musical. Other NY credits include: Hope is the Thing With Feathers (dir. Estelle Parsons), Cheatin’ (NY premiere) and Bravo on Broadway (dir. Tony Parise). Regional credits include: The world premiere of Skin, Meat, Bone (dir. Robert Wilson), The Woolgatherer (Rose), Carnival (Lili), Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred), Guys and Dolls (Sara u/s) and The Cherry Orchard (Anya). On the small screen she has appeared on: Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Saturday Night Live, Rescue Me, Ugly Betty, Strangers With Candy, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and as a series regular on ABC’s CityKids and TNN’s Lifegame. On the big screen she can been seen in Alec Baldwin’s Shortcut to Happiness, Mona Lisa Smile, The Departed, Enchanted, Spider-Man, many independent films and the award-winning short For the Love of the Film (as Chewbacca). Most recently she co-wrote and starred in the sitcom pilot Next Song Off Our New Album. A big yee-haw and thank you to all who have helped make this family dream a reality.
