Mike Lees (Musical Director) received his BS Degree in Music from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and did graduate work in Choral Conducting at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. After graduating from college, he performed with a USO tour, entertaining troops in Europe and the Azores Islands. Mike has numerous directing credits, as well as playing leading roles in such shows as 42nd Street, Hello Dolly!, A Little Night Music, Lend Me a Tenor, Evita, and The Secret Garden. Currently, he is the Director of Choral Arts at the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences. His concert choirs and performing ensembles have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. He is a member of the national staff of America’s Junior Miss Scholarship Program as Regional Coordiator for the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to serving as vocal coach to the national winner, he also assists with the nationally televised production broadcast on the PAX/NBC network.
