Brenda Bohannon (Costume Design) is a native of Crossville, TN. She attended N.E. Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri where she majored in art and minored in theater and vocal music. Although her 25 year professional career has taken her all over the South and Midwest, the hand of fate always seemed to bring her back to the mountains. She spent a number of years at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville as the resident costume designer and a member at the professional acting company. Her design work there included The King and I, The Diary of Anne Frank, Two by Two, The Glass Menagerie, and The Robber Bridegroom. She now resides in Spring City where she is a board member of the Tennessee Valley Theater where she will be directing Hello Dolly in July. She is also a member of the Rhea County Arts Council Board. She feels it’s a great pleasure to be working with Rex and Sherry again on such an exiting project.
